A Quiet Invitation into Thanksgiving

As we move into this week of Thanksgiving, I invite you to feel a soft invitation that rises beneath all the usual (and building) holiday bustle … It’s an invitation not to perform gratitude, but to feel it in whatever way is true for you.

Thanksgiving, at its heart, is not a single day on the annual calendar. Rather, it is a moment of recognition we can have at any moment. A pause. A breath.  Where we allow ourselves to remember that life is not only what challenges us, but it’s also what sustains us, surprises us, and carries us along in our journey.

This week, see if you can give yourself a few quiet moments to notice the subtle threads of support woven throughout your life:

The person who checks in on you without being asked.
The warm meal that finds its way to your table.
The inner strength you didn’t realize you had.
The guidance you’ve felt — seen or unseen — during difficult hours.
The small kindnesses that arrive when you need them most.

Thanksgiving begins with noticing these moments, not measuring them. It grows when we honor our own experience without comparison. And it deepens when we allow our hearts to open just enough to feel the presence of love (both in the physical world and from those in spirit who continue to walk with us).

If gratitude feels expansive for you, let it flow.
If it feels tender or quiet, honor that too.
Your spirit knows exactly how to meet this moment.

May this week bring you a sense of connection — to yourself, to the people you care about, and to the unseen currents of love and support that hold you more deeply than you may realize.

Wishing you a meaningful and gentle Thanksgiving.
